What Makes it Rad
Fort Miley is a military reservation that sits on the southern side of the Golden Gate Bridge and happens to have some epic terrain. It is largely abandoned, but for the skaters who converge on its cement pyramid and surround hips. If you want a bump to bar, Fort Miley is your place. Some of the hips are mellow, while others provide a serious boost, as is evidenced by Sean Sheffey's slam and subsequent ollie in Girl's Goldfish. This is one of the SF's longest-standing skate spots and comes highly recommended.
