The Cairo Foster Interview

Cairo doesn't have a trick named after him, but he does have a piece of terrain that bears his name. Pieces of terrain, in fact. Somewhere along the line it came to be that any gnarly ledge off stairs, the kind of ledge you get pitched from before falling 7 feet into scorpion pose, could be dubbed a "Cairo ledge" and people would know what you are talking about. Through the years, Cairo has skated things most people shouldn't skate and he makes it look damn good. And sound damn good- his video parts got an entire generation of skate rats into indy rock artists like Modest Mouse and Built to Spill. Trick selection tasteful, steeze steezy, skating spots that people really shouldn't- this is Cairo Foster, and this is The Cairo Foster Interview.

The Steve Berra Interview

Steve Berra... Where to begin? He has been in the game for years. Decades. Nearly three decades in fact! He originally turned pro skating vert and then became one of the most respected street skaters of the 90's. He probably has the best backside flip ever, and his fakie flip is a contender as well. Plus, Fakie 50-50s on handrails anyone? Didn't Mason Silva just pull one on the hubba in his Recruit a couple weeks ago? Also you should really know his part in Rolling Thunder. Aaaand of course that he co-founded The Berrics with Eric Koston. Berra... Eric... Berrics... Get it???

Really the man's work speaks for itself so without further ado, this is The Steve Berra Interview

The Tim Gavin Interview

We think Tim Gavin might be even more prolific in skateboarding off the board than on it. If ever there was a way to follow up an eleven year pro career it would be by founding companies like Lakai, Matix, DVS, and more recently, PORT LBC, Knox Hardware and Filament Brand. Instead of descending into TM obscurity and talking about the good 'ol days, The Gav has built multi-million dollar brands and seems on a singleminded mission to take skateboarding's apparel industry back from the Dark Men who have infiltrated it. And did we mention he's got one of the great frontside heelflips of all time?

Bust or Bail 2: The Ripper at Clipper

Sunday started out like any other day, lurking about with a bag full of video equipment to film somewhere in the city. Suddenly, through the power of Instagram, we were alerted to a secret contest being held by Thrasher Magazine to honor the legendary Clipper ledge in San Francisco. The spot will soon be destroyed so they brought out the big guns for one last go at it! It's times like these you really appreciate the perks of living here.

The Jack Fardell Interview

Jack Fardell... Australian for Skateboarding. He's been on an all out rampage lately, destroying spots around the globe, showing little to no remorse for the devastated skaters left baffled in his wake. As if that weren't enough he recently swapped animal allegiance from Eagle to Panda, joined the Adidas team with a mind-fuck of a welcome part and snagged the latest cover of Thrasher by manhandling a rail that was left untouched for nearly 20 years.

Money Grab: 12 More Terrible Skate Products

It seems in today's era of hyper-social sedentary living most kids just want to take the easy way out. And for those who actually dare to avert their eyes from the inviting glow of technology to risk a little blood and sweat, it still always seems to be by the path of least resistance. So is it any wonder most of the "products" on this list are basically skateboard training wheels? Sadly, there are too many terrible skate products out there to compile into one list, but we do our best to narrow it down for you. So chain your wallet to your belt loop and prepare to be ripped off again, this is Money Grab: 12 More Terrible Skate Products.

The Louie Barletta Interview

Louie Barletta, the Juan Ponce De Leon of skateboarding... With a career spanning thousands of years now, Sweet Lou is still pushing hard as both professional skater and brand director for enjoi, with a style that has you questioning whether anyone does in fact have more fun on a board than him. If you haven't seen "OverVert" by now then shame on you, go watch it, preferably with your favorite beverage in hand.  And then maybe you'll understand why just last year he was nominated for Thrasher Skater of the Year and won Transworld's Best Team Award with enjoi. Just to be thorough we should also mention bowl cuts and nose rings in this intro. Nailed it.
